Recent structural studies carried out for Puddle Pond by Geokincern of Auckland New Zealand indicate that there are two generations of alteration and sulphide deposition in the Lake Bond area. The first generation mineralization is characterized by pyrite and Cu-Zn sulphide mineralization associated with pervasive chloritization and locally intense quartz- sericite alteration. The second generation mineralization comprises locally auriferous Cu-Pb-Zn sulphides in a dominantly silicate gangue. (From Mineral Occurrence Database: 012H/01/Pyr003).
