Winter Tickle Project (Orogenic Gold)

Gold mineralization on the property is associated with sheared gabbros, and less commonly the host marine siliciclastic rocks of the Exploits Group.

Gold occurs in banded to brecciated quartz-carbonate-arsenopyrite veins up to 0.75m wide.

Surface samples up to 13.6 g/t Au with multiple assays from trenching in the 2-10 g/t Au range.

A conspicuous NNE-trending linear feature, interpreted as a dextral strike-slip fault, runs through the middle of the property.

400 hectare property with good road access from Highway 352, approximately 25km north of Botwood.

Focus of a significant work program in 2003-04 by Cornerstone Resources Inc.
